This course covers the basics of using a browser whether Netscape or Explorer. How to "surf" the net including using various search engines and what they are, using WebPages such as government of Alberta, university and other government sites. How to download files. This course is predominately hands on and class/participant driven. Dealing with messages and security on the Internet.
Participants should have familiarity with Windows 95/98/NT and some mouse and typing skills.
