Hotels in Alberta accepting dogs

Please! Please! Pick up after your dogs - this is a likely reason that fewer and fewer hotels allow dogs - and why more and more hotels are charging or increasing their fees for allowing dogs.
Note: in many cases if you take a smoking room you will not have to pay a fee whereas if you take a non-smoking room then you do have to pay a fee. I think this is fair because my sister is seriously allergic to dogs and cats and I can see where allergy/asthma sufferers could get extremely ill if the room was not properly cleaned after a pet had stayed there. Also, check on the size of pet they allow - some hotels will not accept large dogs.
